Self Belief

If you've recently entered the realm of internet marketing (or are thinking about entering) this article is for you. There is absolutely nothing more important to your success as an internet marketer than self-belief. You have to have a vision of what you want to achieve, and you have to believe that you will achieve that vision no matter what, and no matter how long it takes. Any internet marketer or online guru worth mentioning has struggled to get to the level of success they're now at. Most in fact actually have some pretty incredible success stories to tell. Probably the most well-known of them all, Mike Dillard, struggled for literally years trying to make it in the business. He didn't give up when he didn't make it in a month, or two months, or three months... or even a full year. Why? Because he saw others creating incredible success online and saw no reason why he couldn't do the same. If anything should lead you to believe in yourself and achieve your goal of financial freedom, it should be this fact. Many people today are creating absolutely massive wealth online, and the fact is, most of them are doing it with relative ease. No there is no one "secret" or special tool which will help you achieve your goals... and if you come across some "get rich quick" scheme promising you such, close the page and move on. What has led these gurus to success online is an accumulation of knowledge... a knowledge of how to attract people to want to work with and buy from them. Thankfully for those of you just starting, or looking to get into the industry, this knowledge is quite readily available. The fact is however, that most newbie internet marketers still don't get it... they try their hand at something, don't see quick results, then give up and call the whole system a scam. What many of you have to realize is that you probably WILL struggle before you achieve success... regardless of what information you're provided with. You will have to refine your skills... you will have to find your niche. Maybe you've tried your hand at one form of marketing and gotten nowhere... well no problem... move on to the next until you've found what you ARE good at. There is no doubt in my mind that anyone out there can make it as an internet marketer... the key is persistence. You don't have to be a genius... you don't have to be a rocket scientist... you simply need to want it bad enough to take control and make it happen. People with all sorts of backgrounds have made it in the industry... waiters (Mike Dillard)... salespeople (Jay Kubassek)... landscapers (David Schwind)... marines (Michal Force)... and so on. The difference between these incredible successes, and the 97% who fail, is that they wanted it more. They wanted it and they didn't give up until it happened for them. If they can do it, you can do it... and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. So don't lose faith if you struggle a little bit... persist, push forward, and don't give up until you're a success too! 5 Ways To Promote Your Website

The days of "if you build it, they will come" are well and truly over on the web. You need to promote your website to help people to find it. Here are some ways you can do that:

1. Put a video on YouTube

After Google itself, YouTube is one of the most used sites on the internet. You need to have a video on there!

This doesn't have to be a full-blown Hollywood budget video. You can film yourself using your mobile phone - the quality is plenty good enough - or you can do a simple screen capture and voiceover video using a program like Jing or Cam Studio. These work fine and you can embed the video on other web pages if you want to give it extra exposure.

2. Tweet about your site

Like it or loathe it, Twitter can be a good way to promote your website. Keeping your Tweets within the 140 character limit is good practice if you're used to waffling on forever. You can get a surprising amount of detail in a Tweet and it can draw attention to you. It's generally better if you don't use Twitter solely for self promotion. Use the medium to build up a loyal base of followers who actually read your Tweets and you'll find that the medium begins to work for you.

3. Create a Facebook page

If you're in an industry that deals with consumers (B2C in business speak) then Facebook is another great way to promote your website.

They keep changing the design and what you can do with your pages but the massive base of people using the site makes it worthwhile to do this. Facebook works especially well for repeat business. You can offer coupons to your fans, promote one off events and much more. They can interact with you which gives you the chance to be more personal than you'd previously have been.

4. Update your LinkedIn profile

LinkedIn is mainly a business-to-business site. Your circle of contacts (connections in LinkedIn speak) gradually builds up and you can use the site to keep in touch with them via various groups. It's also quite usual for your LinkedIn profile to come up high in the search results when people search for your name.

You can include links to your company website as well as other details about yourself.

5. Article marketing

Old fashioned, boring, all sorts of other accusations. But article marketing still works to promote your website.

Aim for a good quality article that satisfies the "hook" in the headline but leaves your reader thirsty for more information. Then provide that information in your own website - you can link to this from the resource box at the end of the article and include a call to action to encourage your readers to click through to your website. The search engines will also notice that link and, over time, will take account of it when they decide where to place your site in the search results.

Check out Website Action Plan for lots of ways to promote your website.

What Steps Are Needed to Setup My Website to Sell Ebooks?

More than once you have sat down to try to write your first ebook, but this small, nagging voice kept asking, "What steps am I going to have to take to sell this book and make money?" This is a common question that many people ask, and we will answer it in this article.

Step 1 - Get a domain name

A domain name is the doorway that people type in the address bar that takes them to your website. You could use a free domain name if you wanted to, but you shouldn't. Using a free domain name just shows that you are so unsure of your own business that you won't spend a few dollars to get your own address. If you don't care about your business, then don't expect others to care.

Step 2 - Get a credit card processor

You don't want people sending you a check in the mail, so you must have a way for people to pay for your ebook with credit cards. PayPal is probably your best option here because they accept all major credit cards. You won't have to pay a penny to use PayPal, but they will deduct a small transaction fee from the profits of each sale.

Step 3 - Create a sales page

The primary message of your sales page should explain the benefits of your ebook. Keep your sales page simple because you don't want to detract from your actual sales message. If you want to know what a good sales page looks like, look online and find a sales page that persuades you to buy and then imitate it.

Step 4 - Get targeted traffic

Getting traffic to your website is simple, but it is not easy. Not being able to get focused traffic to your website will absolutely kill your business. Getting focused traffic take a lot of work, energy, and discipline. That is why most people don't do it. Article marketing is one of the most effective methods of getting targeted traffic. That is why I use it so much. However, article marketing is not the only effective marketing method. There are many more. Choose the option that works best for you and stick with it.

Step 5 - Collect email addresses

Getting targeted traffic takes way too much time and effort to let them turn around and leave. That is why, if you want to succeed in this business, you must get your visitor's email address. Your ebook business's success will be based on your ability to get visitors to sign-up to your subscription list.

You Can't Make Money Online

You Can’t Make Money Online
By Kovich On April 17, 2010 Under Personal Development

Statistics show that you will never earn a notable amount of money online. In fact, recent studies indicate that less than 3% of people actually succeed. Now, we can draw conclusions and try to figure out why that number is so low, but I think I have a pretty good idea already: Laziness.

People want instant gratification with zero effort and absolutely no blood, tears or sweat involved. (If there’s any bloodshed while trying to earn money online, you’re probably not doing it right.) Obviously, such methods will never be successful. You will not become a multi-millionaire by sitting down and staring at your PayPal account. The money won’t simply materialize in your possession.

How do you actually make money online? This question is so simple that I can’t believe people even need to ask it! The answer? Dedication, Effort, and Motivation. Dedication, Motiviation and Effort In fact, I’ve even utilized my vast experience with Microsoft Paint to design a graphic that conveys the point I’m trying to make. I call it the Triangle of Success. Let’s start with some definitions:

Dedication is sheer commitment. When you are dedicated to something, you have made a pledge to stick with it until the end.

Motivation supports your ability to invest effort into a project and to remain dedicated. It is what keeps you going and focused. It pushes you towards your desired goal.

Effort is actually doing the work and investing the proper time and resources into moving toward what you want.

You’ve probably seen the recent hype about ‘The Secret’ and how the key to finding success is something well protected and unheard of by the masses. Their marketing campaigns make it out to sound quite mystical – much like something passed down through generations of sages. So, I’m going to refer to this post not as ‘The Secret’ but as ‘The Truth’. The three fundamentals I described above are the exact keys to success… there is no secret, no mysticism and no divine outside force involved.

“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.” – PataƱjali

Success often begins with a lot of hard work – late nights, tons of crumpled up sheets of paper with discarded ideas, and a high budget in place for coffee. Over time, you’ll learn to develop ways that you can work smarter instead of harder. In other words, you figure out easier ways to do things. For example, you can copy text on a computer by highlighting it, clicking edit, and then clicking copy, or you can simply use CTRL + C. See what I mean?

I’d like to warn you, however, about taking shortcuts. I wrote about an experience (click here to read it) I had with a guy who wanted to take a shortcut by driving significantly over the speed limit. He figured he would be saving time and would arrive at his destination faster… the only problem is that he was pulled over by a Pennsylvania State Trooper. Certain shortcuts may seem tempting in business and it is often the most tempting that lead us down the wrong path.

Motivation is probably the most critical component of the Triangle of Success. If you have great ideas and methods, but never have the motivation to execute them, what’s the point? Zig Ziglar once said that motivation is much like taking a shower – it doesn’t last and that is why it’s recommended daily.

When I’m working toward a goal, I like to have a visual reminder to keep me on track. Let’s say that you want to earn a significant amount of money… don’t just print out a picture of a pile of cash. Instead, look at what you can do with the product. Maybe you want a new sports car or a fancy sailing ship. Maybe you just want to pay off your debt. Figure out what works for you!

As a promotional item for this blog, I designed a motivational wallpaper that features a beautiful mountain scene with an inspirational quote by Shakespeare. Feel free to download it and see if it helps give you that daily boost.

“I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.”
- Thomas Jefferson

So, let’s do a summary here and analyze what I’ve covered in this post: There is no secret to success. Everyone has the potential to become successful online and offline. You must invest effort, dedication and motivation in order to achieve your goals. There are valid shortcuts and there are unethical shortcuts that could get you into a lot of trouble – be sure to take everything with a grain of sand (or is the phrase grain of salt? I’m not sure.) and do thorough research on something before you try it.

Whenever you develop a final goal, divide it up into smaller goals to help motivate you and keep you going. If you want a million dollars, you might first want to start with: Make $200 a week. Then, you can progress to: Make $400 a week. You get the idea. Breaking things down into smaller pieces is very important and you’ll see how it pays off once you’re doing it.

I’d also like to recommend that you don’t make profit your primary focus in the beginning. When I started this blog, I didn’t care about profiting. I wanted to produce something high-quality that I could be proud to attach my name to. I kept working, developing new content, finding new promotional methods, etc. Eventually, when people realized how hard I was working, they were much more interested in advertising on my blog rather than any other. It goes to show that when you put your heart into something, people will notice.

The biggest mistake that people make is when they see a profit start to materialize, they assume they have done enough and they stop working. Never, ever do this! You must keep a consistent effort to improve the quality of your business and to keep it moving in the right direction. If you sit down and expect it to run on auto-pilot, you’ll find that it has crashed into a mountain somewhere.

Well, what are you waiting for? Get out there and put this information to good use! Feel free to comment below and share your thoughts.

Successful Internet marketer’s Interview-John Lagoudakis

John Lagoudakis has been a full-time internet marketer since 2008. Since then he has become one of Clickbank’s top 100 affiliates. He lives in Brisbane, Australia with his wife and three children.

Tell us a little background info about yourself. Where are you from? How old are you? How long have you been working in this industry?

I’m 36 years old, was born in Sydney, Australia and have been living in Brisbane for past 9 years. In 2008 I became a full-time internet marketer.

What accomplishments so far are you the most proud of?

When I first came across affiliate marketing, it made sense to me so I gave it a go and within a couple of days made my first sale. The profit was only about $1 but I was ecstatic… it really worked!

I was sick of my job so I made a goal to build up my affiliate marketing business to a point that I could quit my job by my next birthday (which was about 5 months away). After working hard for 8 months I was finally able to realize my goal and quit my job forever! What a beautiful day that was. It was my most satisfying accomplishment. Every day after that has been great.

Another significant accomplishment was becoming one of the top 100 Clickbank affiliates. I was quite surprised when that happened.

How did you come to learn about this industry? Why did you choose this career?

By accident I learned about affiliate marketing. It was while I was trying to build up my network marketing business online and using traffic exchanges that I kept on coming across affiliate marketing guides. Eventually I bought one called “Two Minute Profits” by Alok Jain.

The reason why I’ve stuck with internet marketing, despite all the challenges I’ve had along the way (it hasn’t been smooth sailing!) is that I love the idea of being able to work anywhere in the world and at whatever times and whatever pace I choose.

Some days I’m motivated and work really hard. Other days I just couldn’t be bothered so I do something else. I spend a lot more time with my family. It’s great!

What do you think it takes to be successful as an affiliate?

To be a successful affiliate, you need to know and do the following things:

- Never give up. So many times I see people try something once, or maybe even a few times, and when it doesn’t work out they just give up. Nothing worthwhile is easy. My advice is to find someone that is having the success you want to have and follow their strategy completely until you have the same success
- Stay focused. Many budding affiliates make the mistake of buying every single new affiliate strategy that’s released. You’ll never have success this way. There are a kazillion different ways to make money online but if you spread yourself thin you won’t make a cent.
- Provide quality information. Whatever type of affiliate strategy you use, if you want to be successful, you need to give people what they want. Like Zig Ziglar says, “you can have everything in life that you want if you help enough people get what they want”.

What is the single toughest problem you’ve had to face, and how did you get through it?

The internet marketing world is constantly changing. When I first started out, Google Adwords was the big thing, i.e. setting up profitable PPC campaigns. That’s how I made my big break and a lot of money.

2 years later my Adwords account was permanently suspended (along with thousands of other affiliate marketer’s accounts). My income dropped by more than 50% overnight (literally).

Fortunately, I saw the change coming and had other strategies in place.

What have been your biggest failures and frustrations?

One of the strategies I already had in place before my Google Adwords account was suspended was building a list in the internet marketing niche. A big part of that list building strategy was to do adswaps with other list owners.

My biggest frustration has been the amount of scammers that are out there, that will not reciprocate a mailout or send you junk traffic. It happens too much and other list owners need to be aware. If you’re going to do an adswap (and I highly recommend that you do) make sure you get references first.

Is there anything that you don’t like to do, that you just hate working on?

Writing articles about things that I’m not passionate about. If you’re going to get into a niche, make sure you either really enjoy it, or outsource the content creation. If you don’t, you’ll go crazy or just give up on it.

What is the future of marketing?

I really don’t know. I won’t pretend to be a marketing expert. :) At the moment, social media and video are super popular (e.g. Facebook and Youtube).

If it’s possible for you to share, are there any particular niches that you currently favor? Or that you aren’t necessarily in right now but that you would recommend?

I like the internet marketing/make money online niche and that’s where I’m focusing most of my attention at this stage. I also like to go into any hot niche that has recurring billing products. I love the idea of making a sale once and being paid over and over again.

Which methods of promotion do you favor?

I used to specialize in PPC but now email marketing is my main promotion method. Other methods I use are video and article marketing, Facebook and Twitter.

What have you been up to recently? What projects are you working on?
Right now I’m working on creating more online content to get more subscribers. I offer a quality free video ecourse that teaches others the methods that I currently use to make money online. This free video ecourse is available at http://makemoneyonlinewithjohn.com.

I want to get as much publicity as I can for my free video ecourse so I’m working on writing more articles for my blog and more videos to share online at Youtube, etc.

What motivates you?

My main motivation is my wife and three children. Internet marketing allows me to spend more time with them and a means to give them the things they need and want in life.

What is the best advice you’ve been given and try to apply to your life?

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

What are some of your long-term goals? How much is enough? If money was no object, what would you be doing?

My long-term goal is to have my internet marketing business set up in such a way that I can easily outsource the tasks. Eventually I do not want to be doing any of the ‘grunt’ work myself. I’d like to be simply overseeing the work and enjoying the financial rewards. :)

Internet marketing is ideal for this. It’s very easy to outsource. My main challenge is to get a system into place that I can easily hand off to others.

Where do you want to be ten years from now?

Traveling the world with my family. :)

If you could go back to being 18, what different career choices would you make?

I wouldn’t change anything. I like where I am right now in my life and believe that everything I’ve been through has led me here, good and bad.

What is your greatest achievement outside of work? What are some of your unfulfilled dreams?

I strongly believe that no other success can compensate for failure in the home. I hope that my greatest accomplishment will be the heritage I leave to my family.

5 Steps to Affiliate Marketing Success

To be successful in affiliate marketing requires the willingness to put in the time and the effort necessary to operate your business properly. It is a business, not a hobby, and you must treat it that way. There are certain steps that you need to follow in order to be successful and bring in those big commission checks that you have been dreaming about. If you leave out any of the steps then ultimately your efforts will fail. No matter what niche or specific product within that niche you have chosen to affiliate yourself with, the process to promote it successfully is the same.

That process consists of these five steps:

1. Build your own site. It is possible to get started in affiliate marketing and make money online without your own site, but to bring in the big checks and truly be successful you need to have your own site. And not just one site. You should have a separate site for each affiliate offer that you want to promote. If an offer is not worth the few dollars that it costs to get a domain name and the few minutes it takes to add the site to your hosting account then that offer is not worth promoting. You must build it before they can come.

2. Start your own newsletter. You want to brand yourself as the expert within your niche. There is no better way to do that than to publish your own newsletter on a regular basis. Promote it at least as heavily as you do any of your offers. Give something away to get people to sign up to your mailing list to get your newsletter. Go easy on the affiliate offers with your newsletter, keep it mostly content and provide good information. You will be getting affiliate offers in front of your subscribers with the autoresponder series you will set up in the next step.

3. Get an autoresponder. You should already have one for your newsletter, if not then get one now. You want to be able to use it for your newsletter and for a series of preloaded messages that your new subscribers will be getting over time. You can write the messages, stick them in your autoresponder, and set it to send them out to every new subscriber that you get over a specific period of time. You can have your autoresponder loaded up and ready to send out your affiliate offers for months or even years. Just make sure that any affiliate offers are evergreen so that you don’t have to go back and change them.

4. Start article marketing. You want to get your name and your articles out there in front of as many people as you possibly can. If you don’t like to write then you can outsource the articles. Articles that you have submitted to article directories will make you look like an expert in your niche, bring in traffic, and provide you with much needed back links.

5. Expand your linking campaigns. Back links are one of the most important aspects of getting your sites to rank highly in the search engine results. Set up a reciprocal link program on your site where you exchange links with other webmasters. One way links are even better. Get busy and start posting in forums, commenting on blogs, and writing more articles.

Follow these five steps and your affiliate marketing business will be off to a good start. A good foundation is the key to your affiliate marketing success. Get ready to start cashing in those commission checks.

How to Start an Online Business For Beginners

If you are trying to figure out how to start an online business, I bet you are a little overwhelmed. So to narrow down the topic of an online business, I have decided to focus on three types of the cheapest and easiest online businesses.

Affiliate Marketing
Creating Ebooks
Membership Sites

Affiliate Marketing:

Affiliate marketing basically means selling other people's products online for a commission. Affiliate marketing is the quickest and cheapest way to start an online business. There is no inventory to keep, no order fulfillment, and no customer service to deal with.

You can become an affiliate marketer of almost anything. From digital products, to computers, to clothing, and many more items. All you need to do is find a product or service that you believe in and want to promote.

This is how it works. You will sign up for an affiliate program with a company that has created products or offers a service you want to promote. Once you sign up on their website, then they will give you a special affiliate link that is only unique to you. Once you have that link, you can start promoting the product or service on your website or blog, in an email, or even on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking sites.

Write An Ebook:

An ebbok is an electronic book that you download to your computer. You can read it directly from your computer or print it out. The great thing about ebooks is...you don't have to wait for them to be shipped. You receive them instantly. And people LOVE instant information!

You can create an ebook for next to nothing and sell it for 100% profit!

There are different ways you can create ebooks:

Brain storm and research your topic
Hold a teleseminar: Have somebody interview you, have the interview transcribed, and then turn it into an ebook.
Blog posts: If you have a blog that covers a certain subject, you can turn your posts into an ebook.

Type your ebook into a word document, then convert it to a PDF.

Membership Site:

A membership site is a website that provides information or services to those people who register and pay to be a member.

Most membership sites bill their members on a monthly basis. Once someone signs up as a member, depending on the owner's set up, they are automatically billed each month. Those who sign up to become members have access to member's only information provided by the site owner on a regular basis.

Types Of Membership Sites:

Ongoing: Every month members will pay you for the content in your site. With this type of membership site, you will add content on a regular basis.)

Fixed Term: This type of membership site will last for a specified amount of time. It could last for 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, etc. This is a great way to present lessons into manageable chunks. You could actually turn your ebook into a fixed term membership site.

Membership sites are great because it is residual income. Meaning: recurring monthly payments.

Learning how to start an online business can be a bit overwhelming at first. Narrow down which type of online business sounds best for you, research your topic, and then start learning. Take it one step at a time. Before you know it, you will have an online business up and running.

Starting an Online Business - Ins and Outs of Your Venture

Internet or online business is a field that has gained a lot of publicity recently. There are great opportunities waiting for all kinds of people, no matter what industry they represent. There's just one question to answer: how to begin? Starting an online business is not that difficult, yet it can be challenging if you don't have some of the basic elements in place.

Nowadays, the point of entry is much easier to reach as new entrepreneurs can start their businesses from a small corner of their homes, having only a computer and an internet connection. This big change from physical to virtual gives a good advantage for wealth seekers to reach multitudes of people with very little effort. It is because of this new resource that starting an online business endeavor is an attractive choice for people searching new ventures.

When starting an online business, one must first be familiar with the internet itself and its business applications. This includes things like doing market research, conducting competition analysis, understanding how various web tools work, and becoming aware of the culture and trend of the internet as a marketplace.

In doing so, it is essential to plan for a good concept, product, services and content. The internet is one fast busy business district, so making the content and concept of the business should mean taking full advantage of its capability. Selling goods to audiences all over the world is often the ultimate goal of many online businesses. Therefore, we should consider an interactive online shopping, a convenient global access, and a perfect showcase for people to obtain information about the company and its products. It is also important to achieve efficient means of communicating with clients and customers.

One of the first pieces of online real estate every entrepreneur needs to have is a website. This basically deals with having a domain and finding a web host. The domain is a unique address on the internet that the business owner chooses. It is usually named after the actual business name of the company (or taken from the product itself) since some customers often type it in the web browser.

The web host, in plain English, is a company that provides you with the service of hosting your website on their servers (nowadays, there's no point in having your own servers sitting in your office). Very often, hosting companies also offer domain registration, which makes the whole undertaking a lot easier because you end up with just one company handling both your domain and your hosting. After you have your domain and hosting set up the next step is to have the website designed.

Despite the fact that this is usually the most expensive part, it is not advisable to design the website yourself if you don't have any knowledge in this field. The safest thing to do is to buy a premium WordPress theme and have it installed on your hosting account.

Once the website is ready there are a couple of things yet to do. One of the most important ones is setting up a payment processing system. Fortunately, this is not that difficult thanks to services like PayPal. It is a highly recommended service due to its popularity around the internet and high safety standards. If you intend to sell digital products it is also advisable to deliver them online via a download link or an email attachment. This makes the whole process a lot quicker, and a customer can enjoy their purchase right away.

Unfortunately the "if you build it they will come" phrase does not apply to online businesses. This means that you have to build the traffic to your website on your own. The purpose is to avoid your website to be wiped out by other websites. In order to don't let that happen you have to learn some basic SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Having your website ranking highly in search engines like Google, Yahoo! and Bing is the best way of attracting a constant stream of new customers.

In order to keep track of the transactions made, it is helpful to install a free and easy traffic analyzing tool such as Google Analytics. The statistics it provides will give you valuable information about what's going on in your business in terms of pure numbers.

Finally, in the business world, online and offline; honesty, credibility and integrity are important values that the consumers always consider. Gaining and keeping their trust is essential for that matter. Let us never forget that success doesn't happen overnight. Starting an online business is never difficult as long as much dedication and hard work is put into it.

Past Experience in Home Businesses.

Hi Folks,
As I sit at my computer in my cosy spare room I remember a few years ago when I got started in Amway. There are a few of you out there who have probably tried Amway and there still maybe some people still doing it and I have absolutely no regrets about being involved with the company. Infact I met a lot of lovely friendly new people and also bought some fantastic products from them (and sold too, may I add). Good luck if you are still there.

Anyway what I am going to say is that as it was a multi level marketing concept we had to find people willing to get involved wth us. I remember being so fired up about it at the time and I thought everyone MUST get involved. Was I wrong!!!!

It started out with a few friends getting started and we thought this was great. I started to go to people's houses and show THE PLAN as it was called. This was to get everyone together and show them how it worked just as I had been shown. I thought I was great!!!.

We liked the products and we started to sell some of them. They even started to let us sell mobile phones. This was in 1997 though. We got to 12%level and I thought this was even better.

There were a lot of meetings and follow ups and it took quite a lot of your time in the evenings. I remember being out most evenings doing something.

I saw a lot of people come and go (most went) from our group anyway. To cut a long story short we eventually came out of Amway. Whether this was right or wrong I don't know but it felt like a lot of hard work. Perhaps I wasn't focussed enough or had my goals sorted out.Who Knows. Maybe IF eh!!!!

Me sitting here at my desk seems to be a lot easier than going out every night.I dont actually have to be anywhere at a given time. I don't have to sell loads of physical products. It all seems so much easier with the internet.

I have tried a lot of ideas to make money online and also some offline with no success, but when I look back and see how much effort I put in doing Amway, i have to reflect and say if I put as much effort in now I will be successful.

There are a lot of business ideas out there.I know all I have to do is keep doing the things that successful people do and I will become successful. You will to.
Just get a mentor who is WALKING THE WALK. If you do and you follow them and stick with it you WILL become successful too.

Hope you have enjoyed this experience. Please comment and let me know your stories. Let me know how you are going to become successful or maybe you are already (Hope so)!!1

Thanks

Tips on Starting an Online Business From Home

More and more people are turning to the internet as a way to earn a living, can it really work? Lets take a look and see for ourselves. To anyone starting up, even the thought of setting up a business online working from home is daunting, after all, you will have no work mates, no supervisor to guide you, no boss saying when you should start and when to stop, so the very first thing you will need is...
Self Discipline. By this I do not mean simply setting your start and finish times of working, though this can be hard enough as there are numerous distractions when working from home, but also being disciplined with things like cost, so the next thing you will need to establish is a budget. Of course your size of budget, will greatly determine the amount of work required to be done by you personally, outsourcing some of the work will obviously lighten your workload, but there will be costs involved, so decide what your budget is and stick to it. However, as I stated in my opening statement, more people are turning to the internet to start an online business from home due to redundancy or job loss so have no budget, don, t worry, it is still possible to start a business from home with very little startup money.
Next I strongly advise setting goals. This is important as it is your road map and structure to your progress. It is important to not just dream about your goals, but write them down, time frame them, set out where you want to be in one months time, in six months time, and where you want to be twelve months from now. Do you want a part time business, that ticks over nicely, or do you want a fulltime business to replace your previous income, and more.
Finally, everything we have talked about so far is all well and good, but if you are new to online marketing, Where do you start? So the third thing you will need is knowledge. This can be the most precarious of all, because there is SO much out there, and it is so easy to swiftly become overloaded with advice, ebooks, courses, etc, etc, again this is another example of where discipline is needed, choose a course of action, and stick to it. There are so many ways to start a business online from home that they cannot all be covered in one article, but it is important to find a path of knowledge and guidance that suits you, and stick to it. There will be times, as in any business, when you get frustrated and down, we all do, but stick with it, accept that you will make mistakes, learn from them, and you will succeed.

Why Goal Setting Can Make a Difference in the Way You Live Your Life

Goal setting is one of the most fundamental philosophies in life that you should give importance to if you want to give your life a purpose and direction. The world is full of infinite possibilities. You can design your life in any way you want and it all starts in creating a plan and establishing your goals. Your goals can determine the degree of success that you can experience when you have achieved them. What is your goal? There are short-term goals and long term goals. Whether it is a career goal, a relationship goal or a weight loss goal, setting your goals deliberately will yield more positive results.
A lot of people are caught up in the hullaballoo of everyday activities that they miss out on the opportunities that are only achieved with careful goal setting. Sure, a lot of people have big dreams in life. However, most of these dreams will become just that - pipe dreams. The problem is most people do not take serious action to achieve their dreams and goals in life. They leave it all up to lady luck to do the job and blame it on bad fate later on when things go wrong. If only people make concrete goals and follow through it no matter how difficult and sometimes impossible it may seem, there would be more happy people in the world.
So why is goal setting important? How can it make a difference in your life?
For one, it can give your life a purpose. Your life will become more meaningful when you are driven with passion into achieving something that will add value to your life. The way to achieving your goals may not be easy, but with great faith and determination you will get there. You can create your own roadmap towards your goals. This will help you to stay focus and conscious of the road you are treading on. Without a goal, you can easily get off track and before you know it you are lost in the web of life.
Secondly, goal setting can save you precious time. When you have already mapped up your goals, you know which direction you want to take. Hence, you will spend your time wisely and allot most of your time doing the things that are in line with your goal. Most people are living in regrets because of the wrong choices and actions they made in the past. While it is true that people learn from their mistakes, a time lost is gone forever. Hence, we need to spend our time wisely.
Goal setting also promotes self-development, creativity and brings out your potential. When you want to achieve something, it will motivate you to think smartly and creatively. You will devise and find a way to achieve it. Your goals will enable you to get out from your comfort zone and explore opportunities. Hence, one of the greatest rewards of having a goal is also acquiring values in life during the process which will help shape your personality and attitude for the better.
Goal setting is therefore a great way to add purpose, direction and meaning to your life and bring out your fullest potential while helping you achieve satisfaction and success.
