Joke

They were married, but since the argument they had a few days earlier, they hadn't been talking to each other. Instead they were giving each other written notes.
One evening he gave her a paper where it said: "Wake me up tomorrow morning at 6 am."
The next morning he woke up and saw that it was 9 o'clock.
Naturally he got very angry, but as he turned around he found a note on his pillow saying: "Wake up, it's 6 o'clock !!!"

Get Your Communications Right!!

Do Not Follow Where The Path May Lead. Go Instead Where There Is No Path and Leave a Trail.

A wonderful quote and so true. If you want to be your own boss this year take your own path. Go on I dare you!!!!!!! Who knows where it may lead. Have a wonderful and Prosperous New Year.

Make Money Online From Home - Ingenious Method to Explode Your Income

Do the following questions apply to you?:
- How long have you been looking for something different?
- How long have you been searching for a real home business?
- How long have you been looking for a way to make more money?
- How long have you been searching for time freedom?
If you're anything like the people I regularly talk to, then you probably have been trying to make this work for a while now. That tells me two very important things about you:
- You care about yourself and do not want to give up on your dream of making money online from home.
- You are ready for what I'm about to reveal to you
The following three requirements are crucial to make your business a success:
- You need to sell a product that people really want
- You need to have a way to automate the delivery of that product
- You need to have follow-up products to make MORE MONEY more often (the product sales funnel)
So for the product requirement you will have to find or create a product that people want. It is best to get started with information products. This will only cost you the time it takes to write it. Even if you don't like writing you can find someone to do it for you in return for a small fee and it is all done.
It really is that simple, but more often than not people tend to make hard work of this process. In reality it comes down to get your product, sell it to the right people and then sell them more products. Once you have an idea for a product, you need to be thinking about the different products you can sell them after that.
Just keep this in mind: To Get Rich Just Bring In More Money Selling Something Than It Costs To Sell It!
It is not rocket science. The real trick is to make more money than you spend on advertising and operations. If you can do that, you are well on your way to your very own personal ATM machine ready to spit out cash 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
To start your path to success, you will need the following:
1. Professional Lead Capture Pages
2. High Converting Sales Letter
3. Automated Followups
4. Front End Info Product to Solidify Relationship
5. Automated Backend Upsell Process
6. More Products, Offered Automatically
The good news is that all this can be automated by using a dedicated system to plug in your online business.
But remember, NOTHING HAPPENS UNTIL YOU DECIDE TO TAKE ACTION.

Four Internet Marketing Business Models

There are a variety of Internet marketing business models. This is the reason why Internet marketing (IM) means variety of things to a different people. Generically, IM is about making money online. There are four common models for making money online.
  1. E-commerce
  2. Lead-based websites
  3. Affiliate Marketing
  4. Local Internet marketing
E-commerce is perhaps the most familiar model. The largest e-commerce store on the Web is Amazon.com. E-commerce is like having your own store, except instead of having a store on Main street, you have it on the Internet. Anytime you have gone to a site that uses a shopping cart, you have gone to an e-commerce store.
There are two models of e-commerce. The first is where you stock and sell your own inventory, or perhaps your own product(s). The second model is the "drop-ship" model. For this model, you do not actually carry any inventory. You have an agreement with a wholesaler. You sell the product at retail, and pay the retailer the wholesale price and shipping, and the wholesaler will ship it directly to the customer.
Lead-based websites generate revenue by collecting leads and selling them to people who will convert the leads into sales. You do not, but may, get commission on the sale, but for the lead itself. Some products are too complicated to actually sell over the Internet, like insurance policies. What the lead-based website does, is attract people who are interested in the product and entices the visitor to leave contact information for a follow up call from a salesperson.
Lead-based websites are sometimes referred to as Commission Per Action or CPA sites. A person acts by leaving contact information, and the web owner is paid for that information.
Affiliate marketing is perhaps the most common form of Internet marketing. As an affiliate, you act like a sales person who is being paid on commission. If you can entice a visitor to purchase the product via your web site, you get paid a commission. Many people sell products for Amazon.com as affiliates.
The final model is marketing for local business. Local business used to market through the Yellow pages. But more and more people are foregoing the Yellow Pages and simply doing searches on the web. The local marketing model is about helping local merchants to be found on the web when people are looking for their products and services.
You have been presented with the four common Internet marketing business models. These are e-commerce, lead-based or CPA, affiliate marketing and local marketing. The four models are popular because they are a viable way to make a living via Internet Marketing.
Are you thinking about Internet Marketing? Do you have it in you to go to the next step?

Starting A Home Based Business? - Avoid These 6 Costly Blunders

A lot of people would like to start an internet home based business. However, many people do not know where to start.

Starting a home based business can be overwhelming and confusing for the inexperienced. The fact that there are a lot of 'business opportunities' on the internet does not make it any easier.

You can easily succeed with your home based business if you just avoid some common mistakes which people make.

So what are some of the common mistakes that people who are starting a home based business usually make?

? No Plans & objectives. A lot of people start their business with no plans, and this is a very costly mistake. It is important to take the necessary time and effort to plan the business and clearly state the objectives you intend to achieve. Some people start their home based business like a hobby and treat it like one. Do not expect to make millions with your online home based business if you treat it like a hobby.

? Reinventing the wheel. Some people starting a home based business make their learning curves very hard and long. The internet is full of proven money making business models. You can succeed easily by identifying the business type that you would like to have your home based business focused on, try to find someone who has succeeded with that business and learn from them, and duplicate what they have done to succeed. It is also important to have the necessary support network, which can be a relevant forum where you can learn more about running your home based business successfully.

? Thinking that you can make money overnight. This is a common misconception which people have, which is also the reason why many people fail and give up easily. Your online home based business is like any other business - you will need to apply the necessary effort and dedication to make it work.

? Believing that your online home based business doesn't need any capital. This is another very common misconception. If you think you can start and develop a home based business without spending a dime, you are misleading yourself. Be prepared to spend some money to get all the resources you will need to develop your business. Although it varies with the type of the home based business you want to set up, you would need some initial resources that you have to invest in the business. This can be for setting up your website, just as an example. You may also need to buy some resources to make your online home based business fully set up.

? No market study before creating a product or starting the business. Yet another very common mistake. For your home based business to succeed, you will need to have a market for whatever you will be offering. Demand for your products is the most important factor that determines the success of your home based business. A market study on the current market size and future potential of the product or service is therefore very important.

? Lacking focus and commitment. Your online business will need a lot of effort for it to succeed, especially during the first two years. You must therefore be prepared to give your business your total commitment.

If you avoid the 6 mistakes outline above, you will succeed with your home based business.

The How To Guide to Writing & Making Money from eBooks

The How To Guide to Writing & Making Money from eBooks

Ever since the decline of legacy media, many entrepreneurs have been attempting to cash in on the success of eBooks. While most people have more success marketing an eBook to generate leads for an email list, or as a free bonus to promote special affiliate offers, there are ways that you can cash in on eBooks themselves. However, not every eBook will sell well in an already over-saturated market. You need to be able to identify a solid and useful topic, write a thorough and valuable eBook, and properly monetize it for maximum sales. Luckily, it’s not as difficult as you might think.

How to Write an eBook

While there are numerous scams out there, promising thousands of dollars when you sign up for a useless service that will “help” you write an eBook (then showing a picture of an actor holding a stack of hundred-dollar bills), there are some people that have honestly had a good return on their eBook. Glen of Viperchill.com wrote an extensive article about his successful eBook, Cloud Living. Ultimately, he ended up making $30,000 from his popular eBook, which taught people how to make a living online.
So, before you start on your eBook, there are a few things that you have to remember in order to be successful:
  • Pick a topic that you know well, that people are currently interested in, and that allows you to provide the most value. For example, if you notice that the topic “kids costumes that rock” is trending in Google searches, and you have some experience in sewing, you might write an eBook about how to create your own cheap kids’ Halloween costumes.
  • You don’t need to invest in an expensive writing and editing program for your computer. Openoffice.org offers a free word processor that allows you to quickly and easily export any document to a PDF file (the preferred format for eBooks).
  • Planning is key. An eBook provides the perfect opportunity for you to practice your prewriting skills. Have a plan for what direction you’re going to take, as well as some notes on the information you would like to include for each section (i.e. create an outline). Otherwise, your eBook could come off as being directionless and vague.
  • Don’t worry too much about word count. Information is what’s important. While you might not sell many 1000-word eBooks for $19.99, eBooks aren’t usually meant to be 100,000-word novels. Thoroughly and accurately cover the topic in as many words as it takes, but use lean writing to get your points across quickly.

Choosing an eBook Topic

To find a good topic for your eBook, try using some free web tools that can help you find trending topics, or use common sense to time your eBook’s release with an event that should increase interest.
Google Trends is an excellent tool for finding trending topics. However, you must be careful to choose topics with continuing interest – not ones that will drop in popularity after a couple of days. While “Miss Universe 2011″ is likely going to stop trending soon, a trending search like “earthquake” holds some potential for a profitable eBook.
Looking at the Search Volume Index for the past several years in the image above, you can see that the term “earthquake” has experienced some notable interest spikes, usually coinciding with a major earthquake. You can expect interest to continue with this term over the long run. You might write an instructional eBook on the term using one of the following titles:
  • 100 Earthquake Survival Stories
  • Earthquakes and Doomsday Predictions: The Historical Link
  • The Complete Earthquake Survival Guide

Creating the eBook

Once you have a topic in mind and have performed the prewrite, it’s time to get to work creating the eBook. For the written portion, don’t focus so much on creating a narrative. Instead, focus on providing easy-to-digest and actionable information. eBooks work in the same way as webpage content – white space helps make them much easier to read. Use bulleted lists and headers throughout the content to make it easier to scan. In addition, try presenting information in other ways to help readers get through your work. Charts and graphs are excellent additions to help make information more clear.
For clean and crisp charts and graphs, the program Omni Graph Sketcher is perfect (2-week free trial, $29.99 to purchase) and most eBook creators use it to make their own charts. Although there are some free websites for creating graphs and charts (remarkably, NCES’ Kids’ Zone Creator is probably the best), they lack the customization that programs like Omni Graph Sketcher offer.
Remember that your topic has a lot to do with your writing style. If you’re putting together a study, most readers will expect the information to be scholarly in tone, or written from a position of authority and supported by a large amount of citations. However, an eBook on kids’ Halloween costumes might need to be a little more casual in tone, without many works cited (if any at all).
Finally, no matter what you write, make the investment in a good editor. While your writing might make perfect sense to you, it can be completely lost on the average reader. Spelling and grammatical errors can make it seem like you didn’t put much effort into the eBook, which can cost you future conversions. Hire a good editor early in the writing process, and he or she can help you structure the eBook properly throughout the process. If you have trouble writing the eBook, simply buy a few eBooks yourself to get an idea of what readers expect to see in the content. This can help give you ideas about phrasing and organization as well.

Making Money from eBooks

One of the most important questions you must ask yourself before you begin marketing your finished eBook is whether or not you need an established audience beforehand. It’s almost always better to have a group of Internet readers that already view you as an authority, rather than investing in an eBook that might not return your investment for months. For example, the successful eBook marketer Darren Rowse (Problogger) waited to launch his first eBook until he had been writing for the site for five years. Because he waited so long and acquired a huge audience, he was able to make an estimated $450,000 from a single eBook (priced at about $19.00).
Before you begin marketing your eBook, however, it’s important to make sure it’s protected from duplication. All Media Copy offers a helpful guide on adding password protection to your eBooks, in addition to adding a copyright.
There are a few ways to market your eBook (none of which include just popping it up on Amazon.com and hoping for the best):
  • Start an affiliate program: You can contact other bloggers in your niche and ask if they would be willing to promote your eBook in exchange for a percentage of each sale (51%, for example). Most bloggers are constantly looking for ways to monetize their sites, and it doesn’t cost you anything to duplicate your eBook. You might want to use a service like Clickbank to keep things safe and organized.
  • Build an interested audience on your blog/site: This really is the best method to selling an eBook. If you really can’t find an audience, you might try something similar to affiliate marketing by contacting a prominent blog owner and setting up a deal where they sell your eBook and offer you a percentage (provided they are willing to put their name on your product). Keep in mind that people who make significant money from selling an eBook get around 75% of their sales from their original audience/email list.
  • Organic Search Traffic: You can always use targeted organic search traffic to sell your eBook as well, whether it’s through your existing website or a new one you put up just to sell the eBook. The search marketing doesn’t have to be for the eBook’s exact title. Using our earthquake example, you can set up a website with the domain name earthquakesurvival.com (if that search phrase is searched often) and create a simple sales page designed to sell your eBook.
Creating an eBook is a great deal like creating a long article, but must be very well written and laid out to convince people (who are accustomed to getting valuable content for free) to buy it. Generate a good topic and invest some time and money into the eBook and you should have a quality product. When marketing the eBook, focus on long term conversions for a low rate, rather than pricing your eBook high in the hopes of making some quick conversions for a few hundred dollars.

What is the Best Way to Make Money Online?

When it comes to the best way to make money online there are hundreds of options that are available to the public. Depending on your interests and skills, there are many different online money making activities that you can take place in. The bottom line is that regardless of what you like to do, the internet will afford you the option to turn it into a way of making money.

One of the best ways to make money online is by taking advantage of the thousands of affiliate programs that are available. These programs are easy to get set up with, and can make you a lot of money if you are persistent. By becoming an affiliate member of a certain company, you will be paid for any visitors or customers that you send to their site. This means that you can set up your own website with affiliate links, and each time you refer a visitor or customer you will get paid. The most important thing to remember about making money with affiliate programs is that you will have to start out slow; nobody will be making thousands of dollars right off the bat. But after you get things rolling and learn about the industry, you will be able to increase your profits.

Another great way to make money online is by setting up your own online store front. Instead of taking the hard route and setting up a retail shop, why not look into starting your own online store? If you can set up a quality shop that sells products that people need, you will be able to see results in no time at all. Keep in mind that you will have to build your business up from scratch. This includes a lot of advertising so that people know that you are available to meet their needs.

There are also a lot of people that make money online by simply filling out surveys. There are thousands of these opportunities available online so you should not have any problems finding one that suits your needs. If you are going to look into this option you should be aware that there are some scams out there. Even though you are not going to get rich off of surveys, it is one of the best ways to make money online.

Making money online is actually a pretty easy thing to accomplish. The reason that it is not difficult to make money online is because there are so many options available. Regardless of what you like to do, you should not have any problems finding an online opportunity that suits your needs. A little bit of research will turn up hundreds of results.

Why You Need To Build An Email List If You Are Marketing Your Business Online

The majority of home business owners, (i.e. network marketers, affiliate marketers, eCommerce store owners, etc...) are not building an email list. Most of them do not understand why they should even bother building a list. Here are three reasons why you need to build an email list if you are marketing your business online.
Like most people, when I started learning how to market online, I struggled to build my list. I was happy to get one subscriber. Then I would hear stories about internet marketing gurus who had 100,000's of people on their mailing lists and how they would make several thousands of dollars every time they sent an email.
This can be rather discouraging if you are struggling to get one subscriber on your list. However, even if you are just starting a new business online, you should still start building an email list from day one. Here are three reasons why.
1. If You Don't Have A List You Are Not Really In Business - In every home based business I have started in the past, all of them said the same thing. You need a list.
Every Network Marketing company teaches you to start by making a list. They will tell you to write down everybody you know, and then just go down your list and contact each person to see if they are open to a business opportunity.
In the mail order business, your most expensive business expense is mailing offers to your mailing list.
In affiliate marketing, you are really losing your shirt if you are sending all of your traffic directly to a sales page, or to the product owners squeeze page.
It can be extremely time consuming calling each of your contacts one by one, or extremely expensive sending out direct mail offers if you are not at least breaking even.
You can send out your correspondence on auto-pilot to hundreds, or even thousands of your contacts for less than $50 dollars per month when you are building an email list. This is called leverage.
2. Your List Builds Your Brand - Even if you are a virtual nobody in your industry, your subscribers will know who you are. Also when you have new product launches, your email list is the perfect place to launch them.
3. 99.9% of Your Website Visitors Will Only Visit Your Website One Time - Most websites are like ghost towns. The biggest problem that most online business owners struggle with is traffic. When you build an email list, you can send your subscribers back to your website.
Building a quality email list may not be easy, but then again neither is running a successful home business. If it was easy, everybody would do it.
